Promises

I will never believe someone who tells me they promise to do something. Too many times i allowed myself to fall for the wrong guys due to their false promises of commitment and love. Why lie when the truth is so much better. I know some people say they would rather be lied to then to be told the truth because it shows the person loved them enough to spare their feelings. I know because the person who used to say things like this was me. Now i know thats just a bunch of bullshit. People will lie to you and decieve you because its what they do not because they want to spare your feelings. All they want is to know that they have you and thats enough. To know that someone is holding on to them relentlessly while they reach out to many others. It hurst to know that the one you we're giving your all to would give their all to someone else but it happens. Its how we know the difference between right and wrong. When growing up we fell to get up and now that we're older we love in order to know when to move on. Though sometimes we wait till the very last minute we learn to move on with our lives.

Why Fall In Love

Every time i say how much i love someone it never seems to be anything serious to the other person. Some people say "To love someone you have to be willing to give them your all without holding back" but what would that help. you give someone your all in hopes that they'll give you their all but when they don't your left with nothing but heartache and tears. so why put yourself through that much drama? Are the few weeks of smiles he gives you even worth the years of emotional damage he leaves you with? Scared that the next guy after him will be just like him. Is it really even worth it?
